Again any Third World Countries have a severe homeless dog and cat problem. We could also measure the homeless population of humans. Large US cities have a growing problem per the high cost of living. According to the US Census American Community Survey (ACS) there were 267,0000 people in homeless shelters between 2013 -17. The Department of Housing and Development (HUD) estimated the total homeless population in 2022. This includes individuals in and out of shelters. The total was 585,200. I worry about whether I will always be able to get food for my kitty. I also worry about myself and my family. I wonder if we’ll become homeless, of there will be more homeless people..and pets in the street. Those in power want to rule without law, empathy a diverse population. I picture a time before Civil Rights. My parents and ancestors grew up during this time. They left me with the values my life held before this point. The Administration doesn’t value anyone, or care. We’re onto a Third World, or none, at all.
